Pressing Request a Review for every order is simple but slow. Automation does the same thing for every eligible order, on schedule, without anyone opening Seller Central.
Manual vs automatic
By hand, each order means finding it in Seller Central, opening it, clicking and confirming: about 45 seconds, if it's still inside the 5 to 30 day window. At 1,000 orders a month that's around 12 hours. In practice most sellers stop after a while, and the orders they skip are reviews they never get.
How automation works
Amazon's Selling Partner API includes the Solicitations API, the programmatic version of the Request a Review button. An app that Amazon has approved, and that you authorize in Seller Central, can check whether an order is eligible and request the review. Amazon still writes and sends the email.
What to look for in a tool
- It uses Amazon's official Solicitations API, not browser bots or its own emails to buyers.
- It checks eligibility right before sending, so nothing goes out early, late or twice.
- You choose the delay, and can filter FBA, FBM, refunded or returned orders.
- It covers every marketplace you sell in.
- It shows every request it sent, with dates.
- It doesn't need buyer personal data. Review requests don't require names or addresses.
Setting up SellerEcom
- Create a free account.
- Connect your Amazon seller account and approve SellerEcom in Seller Central.
- Choose how many days after delivery to ask, and any filters.
- Done. Orders already inside the window are requested within minutes, and new orders are checked every hour.
Keep reading your reviews
Automation handles the asking; you still own the product. More requests bring more feedback, good and bad. Read what comes in, fix recurring complaints and keep your listing accurate.
